# Agents API

The Agents API manages AI agent YAML files stored under the project `agents/` folder. Each API-created agent has one backing pipeline and one `type: agent` YAML block file.

Agents use `instructions` for saved default instructions. Runtime calls use `message`.

List responses include only valid agent YAML files with `pipeline_uuid`.
