# Google Search Console

## Configuration

To set up the Google Search Console source, provide the following configuration parameters:

| Key                             | Description                                                                                  | Sample Value                                 |
| ------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| `path_to_credentials_json_file` | Path to your Google service account credentials JSON file.                                   | `/path/to/service_account_credentials.json`  |
| `email`                         | If using domain-wide delegation, enter the user email to impersonate.                        | `test@xyz.com`                               |
| `site_urls`                     | Website URLs separated by commas (e.g., `https://www.example.com`, `sc-domain:example.com`). | `https://www.mage.ai, sc-domain:example.com` |
| `start_date`                    | Start date for the Google Search Console query. Format: `YYYY-MM-DD`.                        | `2022-01-01`                                 |

## Prerequisites

* [Enable the Google Search Console API](https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/dashboard).
* Grant the service account access to your Search Console property:
  * Go to [Google Search Console](https://search.google.com/search-console).
  * Navigate to **Settings** → **Users and permissions**.
  * Add your service account email with the appropriate permissions.
