# Styling

## Python

Ruff is the repository's only canonical Python formatter. It uses single quotes and
a 100-character line length. Run the pinned version from the repository environment
only on the Python files changed by your PR:

```bash theme={"system"}
isort <changed-python-files>
pre-commit run ruff-format --files <changed-python-files>
python -m ruff check <changed-python-files>
flake8 <changed-python-files>
pre-commit run --files <changed-python-files>
```

Do not use Black or format whole directories as part of a feature or bug-fix PR.
Repository-wide formatting should be isolated in a dedicated formatting PR.

## Frontend

eslint_d --fix --ext .js,.jsx,.ts,.tsx
